Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about memberships, holds, equipment, and how training works at Legion.
Can I cancel my membership anytime?
Memberships are month-to-month with autopay. You can cancel with 1 month notice as specified in the membership agreement.
What's included with my membership?
All memberships include your training uniform and flexible scheduling. Members can attend any class time within their membership tier without needing to pick specific days. You'll train with experienced coaches in a supportive community environment.
Do you offer family discounts?
Yes! We offer discounts for families with multiple members. Contact us to learn about our family membership rates and save when you train together.
Can I freeze my membership if I need a break?
Yes! We offer membership freezes for medical reasons or travel. Simply fill out our freeze request form with supporting documentation (doctor's note for medical or travel itinerary), and we'll take care of the rest.
Do you require any equipment or uniform purchases?
Your membership includes a training uniform. You'll also need boxing gloves, hand wraps, and shin guards. If you sign up through our 3 Class Quick Start trial program, you'll receive a FREE pair of boxing gloves!
What happens if I miss classes in a month?
Classes do not roll over to the next month. Each membership provides a set number of classes per month that reset at the beginning of each billing cycle.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my membership?
Yes! You can upgrade or downgrade your membership at any time. Contact us and we'll help you switch to the membership tier that best fits your needs.
Do different age groups train together?
No, each age group trains individually in age-appropriate classes. We have separate programs for Youth (5-7), Junior (8-11), Teen (12-16), and Adult (17+). This ensures instruction is tailored to each age group's developmental stage and skill level.
Why is sparring not permitted with lower frequency memberships?
Sparring requires a solid foundation of technique and skill development for safety and effectiveness. With 1-2 classes per week, if you split time between learning techniques and sparring, you won't build enough fundamental skills. The 3+ classes per week memberships allow sufficient time for technique training while also practicing controlled sparring safely.
